FORCES PARACHUTE CHAMPIONSHIPS AT NETHERAVON

The FS
competition will be now run under BPA rules - Rookie, A, AA and
AAA categories. For all classes the competition will be
over 10 rounds using two Caravan aircraft. FS coaching will be
available from Steve Hamilton – between the 1st and the 3rd
this will be on a fee basis – contact the APA Office if
interested. Steve will also be available for free advice on the
first competition weekend. Camera can be supplied if you don’t
have your own.
The costs
are £720 per team (£440 for a military teams) - that’s a
free camera slot and £1 off usual max prices – plus £25
registration per competitor. Unjumped rounds will be refunded.
Accuracy
This is
being run over 8 rounds for Juniors and 6 rounds for
Intermediate and Senior. Civilian Junior competitors get kit
hire at the discounted military rate.
Registration
Registration
for the competition is from 12pm on Friday 3rd August through to
8.30 am on Saturday 4th. The competition will run from the 4th
through to the 12th so that teams unable to jump midweek can
compete over both weekends.
Your
registration gives you a competitors T-shirt, medals in all
categories (mil and civ), a free curry night Weds 8th, a
mahoosive party on Sat 11th and a free BBQ on Sun 12th. There
will also be a pig roast on Fri 10th for a small fee. Prize
giving will be from approx 4pm on Sunday the 12th following the
parachute and flying display. Free bunkhouse and camping for
everyone throughout the competition – first come first served.
There will
be no jumping for non-competitors over the weekend of the
4th/5th. Depending on the progress of the competition, we may
also need to restrict fun jumping on the 11th/12th but we'll
keep everyone updated via the website. Why not join in the fun
