evolved from a comment made by Scotty when he heard that he was
being allowed to go back to skydiving at the age of
65. He said he thought about starting a club called
G.I.T.S. (Geriatrics In The Sky) for anyone over 50 who had a love of sports in the sky.
When sharing
this thought with a friend the idea was born to set up a website
which would make a worldwide community club.
Scotty's
field of expertise is skydiving, but as the site evolves we are
hoping to have sections devoted to all the various aerial sports.
Eva has been
a webmaster for some years and runs a community site
devoted to gardening that achieves in the region of 7,000 hits a
day, and she is pleased to bring her expertise into the
construction and maintenance of the site.
We have had
some enthusiastic volunteers join us also. Read about THE
